Ying D'Aloia
Acupuncturist AHPRA registed Honer B.H
Ying was raised in a traditional Chinese family in China, where her grandfather, a biomedicine doctor trained in Japan, played a pivotal role in her upbringing. As one of the earliest practitioners of Western medicine in China, he championed the significance of Chinese culture and medicine while embodying the principles of Chinese philosophy. His influence instilled in Ying a deep appreciation for Chinese medicine, which became an integral part of her family’s daily health practices. Remedies such as cupping, Chinese herbal pills, and moxa were common treatments for minor ailments like colds and bruises.
Though Ying initially embarked on a different career path, the health of her children soon became a primary concern for her. She felt a gap in her ability to support her family’s well-being. After dedicating over 20 years to finance and accounting, she made a bold decision to delve into the study of Chinese medicine and has not looked back since.
With her strong family background and cultural influence, she quickly grasped the core principles of Chinese medicine. Ying combines this solid knowledge with her intuitive insights and thoughtful approach. Under the mentorship of Dr. Kang Xiao Lee, Chair of CMASA of Victoria, she has immersed herself in researching the classics of Chinese medicine, applying her findings to her practice to achieve effective therapeutic outcomes.
Ying possesses a profound understanding of diseases through the lens of Chinese medicine, enabling her to make accurate diagnoses and assess the progression and potential outcomes of various conditions. She crafts personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique situation, incorporating diverse modalities as needed to attain optimal results.
